FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Art Is Medicine and Education Center 501(c)(3)

1/28/2026

Art Is Medicine (A.I.M.) will be hosting a free Sound Healing Session and our monthly Art Day in observance World Sound Healing Day for the community on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 10:30am to 2:00pm at the AIM Sound Lab inside Badgerland Gallery, 119 S Chestnut Avenue, Green Bay, WI 54303.

Sound healing is a therapeutic practice that utilizes vibrations from instruments such as crystal bowls, gongs, drums, and chimes to reduce stress, anxiety, and pain while promoting deep relaxation and emotional balance.

World Sound Healing Day is a day where thousands of participants will be creating healing sounds encoded with the intention of love and compassion. Together, we will be contributing to a co-created evolutionary vibration field of global harmonization, community peace, and healing of our community.

Art Day is a monthly event that AIM puts on which includes various workshops. For February’s Art Day, we are Creating Wholeness from Pieces. Shaping a heart from clay is an act of gathering what’s scattered and giving it form. Each piece is pressed, joined, and smoothed, the same way wholeness is built in life. The lines where pieces meet don’t weaken the heart; they tell the truth of how it came together. As hands work the clay, there’s a space to acknowledge what’s been broken. In the end, the heart holds not because it is flawless, but because it has been patiently made whole. This workshop is free of charge to the veterans and first responders.

“Being a retired First Responder, I have firsthand knowledge of the stresses and pressures of public services. I am passionate about helping others manage these challenges and did not hesitate when asked to lead this emerging organization. It is

through events like this Sound Healing Session, that allows us to promote our mission and programs that help our veterans, first responders and their families as we help build a better community.” Justin Scheidecker, President/Co-Founder.

The only thing that the community needs to do is show up on World Sound Healing Day and enjoy the festivities.
